Hello,

My 2014 Impala's HMI 1.1 stopped working for a year now (no screen, USB, CD, AUX, Rear Camera) "Only the radio is working", so I thought I could replace it with any other HMI that fits (lol)
So I bought an HMI 2.5 from a 2018 Camaro
When I installed it first the boot screen appeared ( Cadillac logo for some reason) and then it showed "Locked"
and the USB works (as a charger at least)
My radio is still working and I can control it from the steering wheel with no problems
but then I tried to "Replace and program" using SPS2 and it showed a success message but the screen turned black (no boot screen, no Locked)

Using GDS2 I can see that the VIN on the HMI is different than mine, 
after that, I tried creating a DPS archive to program it using DPS but even DPS showed an error "DPS error occurred during programming"
is there any hope for this HMI to work?

Really interesting how sps allow you to flash hmi 2.5 in vehicle with original 2.0 (never hear for hmi 1.1). Need more information. Pictures of modules. What you try to program. Clearly can see where in programming log show you try to flash hmi, but make major mistake with choice pin1 instead of pin 6/14

to make it work need to relearn vin, and start from there.

Get hmi relearn file from forum and relearn vin.
