Your car have onstar?

Depending on whether it has onstar or not, the calibration that makes the microphone work is different. if you load a calibratios of a car with onstar, in a car without onstar, the mic stop working.

For SPS, search a VIN of insignia B you need and programm the HMI using this vin and will program OK

@codebuilder  Actually, as Arbe said, it is my vehicle. The original did not have OnStar. The HMI 2.5 I upgraded had OnStar. So there may be an incompatibility. If someone teaches me how to program and calibrate, I'll try it myself.

  • As Lyubomir wrote, your best bet is to try the USB update then do the calibration.  When I encountered this, I had a European unit that I purchased off of eBay (same part number as your original) and

Please tell me a means of communication where I can reach you. I ordered VCXNANO. I can contact you when it arrives.

Sorry, I had missed that.  I had just fixed this same issue for Nasser.  It's a flag in one of the calibrations (can't recall off of the top of my head but I can find it).  I sent Nassar a file and the mic started working.  I'm happy to flip it if you send the calibrations to me.  I see you're waiting on a VCX though but I don't mind looking and updating the calibration for you.

The changes you want are in the country calibration.  There's a microphone config flag and a few Onstar flags.
