How to trick or eliminate codes in a bcm after ecm swap?

Featured Replies

Hey guys recently swapped a 2016 Silverado 4wd from a v6 to a v8 using a 2017 ecm with vats turned off with HPTuners.  Truck runs fine but a get a code B3902 and my theft lock light is staying on in the instrument cluster.  Is there any way to get that turned off?  In HPTuners I do not see any way to make that dtc not report since its on the body control side of the system.  Any help is greatly appreciated

sounds like you need to change the pcm data to match the bcm. and then sync them. requires an eeprom editor and posssibly TLC. Ive not directly swapped in a pcm before, but i've done some other parts.
