basically i have the issues with high frequency and sound system alert (while parking for example) that sound is so f***ed up.

Called 3 opel dealears around me and no one was willing to do that, they don't want to assume any "risk" even if i am willing to pay good money for it.

Maybe the HMI or the radio module need the calibration files that already have the Bose system activated. 

maybe editting the calibrations of the HMI, or the silverbox module, can be volume down. but i dont know.

Its true the BEEPS of Opel , for park assist, etc are too loud always and when you down the tone in the menu they dont down much the tone on the speakers....

If you load the calibrations in the silverbox from VIN with ampli bosé, the outputs of the silverbox are deactivated, all the audio its sended via mostbus to the BOSE amplifier, included the tones. if dont have the bosé amplifier, no sound.

The amlifier are using by Aling i think its a "hi-level input" and the own amplifier correctes the level. then, if load the calibrations of bose, not resolve this. i think...

However, I’m curious about the calibration process. What does it do? Is it possible to duplicate module settings without having to go to a dealer and using a Vci code?

GM module calibration files are basically a tick sheet of all the features/options a specific vehicle should have. Yes, you can activate features without needing a VCI code. To do that you will need to use a website like eBay or other sites to find a Vehicle VIN of the same model as yours that already has the features you need, then use GM SPS service to gather those calibration files and create a dps archive for programming the module with the features you need.
