Hi i am new to DPS but i think i am trying to do something fairly simple. I just want to add an RPO code (DL3) to my BCM and door switch modules (DDM and PDM). I am assuming that i need to read/view the files from these controllers and then modify them and flash them back on. Is there any tutorial or quick breakdown from a high level how this works? I am an engineer and familiar with several programming tools so with enough info im sure i can figure the rest out...

This tut will explain how to use IPC xml files and rpo codes but if your adding new features to a module then expect to possibly need to either edit or replace some of the calibrations also..

 

is there a solid tutorial on how to edit xmls/add features? Im just adding the mirror power fold option, just one RPO. I can actuate the mirrors via Tech 2 i just need the feature in there to do it themselves.

do you know, what is needed to change to enable mirrors to fold automatically with locking the car?
