Hi, do somebody knows which update is it looking for? I turned On my car few days ago and this was the screen I saw, this happens a few times during the day, rear camera works but does not shows the guide lines, bell from proximity sensors also works, even the Buick logo appear when start the car but no multimedia...  black screen.

Is it possible that someone of you can share the USB files to update this HMI?

If the Regal has the HMI 2.5, you can use this file below or use GM SPS service to update the HMI's firmware,  then use GM SPS service to program the HMI, to restore the Buick Regal theme and settings for that vehicle.

I don't know if SPS has firmware for HIM 2.0. You can check by selecting in SPS "human machine interface", then select the "USB file transfer" option.

Hi, after many time I found a person that has the DPS software and a VXDiag interface (I'm not expert on this), is helping me to load the files you sent me, but at 99% of the process the DPS retuns an error, so what is the suggestion for this? HMI still not working, please your comments, here an screenshot of the error:

Hi, thanks for your help but still not working, at 99 percent of the programming process it returns an error.

 

There is a difference, with files that pupu14 (Hugo_Regal_2015_HMI.zip) shared me I'm able to use the audio using the controlls on the steering wheel, like in the next picture, with files shared arbe_gtc (HMI2_REGAL_2015_IO6.zip) only appear the message "Audio deactivated" and no audio output.

 

 

 

Any idea how to fix the problem of the 99 percent?

Try with different version of DPS (older/newer, does not matter). 

If you have this option - try programming with different J2534 scantool.

i think your problem is the HMI need the software, not the calibrations.

can you share the part number of your hmi?

you can read the Final Model Part Number with GDS2?

It looks like the problem with your rear view camera. Can you disconnect it before flashing? And after flashed connect again.
