Hi , 

I have bad cd 500 navi in insignia 2009 and wish change with unit from oter car 

I bay unlock file for vin change and  use DPS tool for programing but not sucess ...

Maybe i make some wrong is it possible some help ?

i use MDI interface  and have comunication with car , read info working but when tray programing CAL file not pass.

Is it need some adjust is DPS tool before programing ?

is it ok procedure step by step :

1. vehicle architecture = GM global A

2. sybtype = golbal A

3. Protocol = gmlan 

4. diagnostic pin = 1. 83.3kb

5. get controler info / select MDI interface

6. ecu adres ID = 11  ???   or need change 

7. request method = standard  ? or need change 

8. read info and ok 

9. selec calibration zip file and load 

10. program 

 

Then i have error ...

 

 

 

 

Maybe your interface is the issue. You may need to buy a VXdiag nano GM interface, that one works great with DPS.

Strange , i use original MDI interface which working on last gds2 perfect , win tech2 on win 10 all working .

Which version DPS prefer  ?

I bay allso and last 4.8 version and will tray.

Use dps 4.46 that one works fine.

Its not need  some adjust  in controler info tab  for insignia 2009 

ECU adres ID / 11 is set 

request metod / standard 

Also not need to write first  VIN in BCM like HMI modul ?

In protocol and comunication seting  is ok to be select  :

3. Protocol = gmlan 

4. diagnostic pin = 1. 83.3kb

 

Then load  unlock zip file and program unit  ?
