I am pleased to announce the release of the GM DPS Archive Creator Tool Version 2.

The tool can be used to automatically create the DPS archive file from the GM SPS cache folder calibration files and is great for those who want to quickly create a DPS archive file for programming a general motors electronic module.

This tool is locked to the PC hardware ID. After purchasing, you must install the tool and send a private message, including your PC hardware ID, to @Troy to receive your activation key.

 

How to receive your activation code.

  1. Download the tool from the downloads section.

  2. Extract the "DPS_Archive_Creator_V2.zip" to your PC desktop.

  3. Open the PDF file "Read Me! Instructions.pdf", read its content and follow the instructions.

 

What's new in version 2

Version 2 has two new features

  1. The tool can automatically create DPS archive files for Global-B vehicles.

  2. The tool can automatically create DPS archive files for Type4 files.

  3. There is no need to use 7zip to uncompress the calibration files.

    Are calibration files and DPS files the same?

    I have a Chevy Bolt with an abnormal booster sound and another one with stalitrak light.

    I have a VCX nano.

    Hi, the GM SPS service provides calibration files for various vehicle modules. These files contain the operating system and settings tailored for specific GM vehicle models.

    DPS archive files are created by the DPS SPAT tool using the calibration files from the GM SPS Service. These DPS archive files enable module programming without requiring access to the GM SPS Service.

    No this program is basically combining the modules calibration file to make an archive file in order to program your desired module (ecm-tcm-abs-…ect.)

    Unlocking a module is a completely different story

    Good day all. Im hoping to virginize a US 2008 suburban EBCM, will this archive creator tool give me access to a new base flash config? Do i still need to wipe the old Pin and Vin? is there courses and/or tooling for that?

    Admin, do you need to wipe these modules first or just cram a new calibration on it and send it? How do you wipe them?
