I have a VXDIAG Interface and an Astra J VXR here uin the UK.

I've had to replace the ABS/ELECTRONIC BRAKE CONTROL MODULE.

GDS2 now shows a VIN mismatch error. Please can someone advise me how to update the VIN.

You need online SPS access; you have to log out the old module and log it in to your VIN—or check if the module has matching part numbers. Alternatively, you could use the necessary files and perform the procedure with DPS

Yes, I'd like to use dps, but I'm not sure how to get these files needed, I've read about getting them from an sps cache folder but does that only work if you had paid access for that car before or does it download them before that stage.

It will be good idea to get the car VIN and EBCM VIN so you can note down as you'll need to do a pin change as well (as far as I aware)
