Adding a spare key on 2023 Tahoe Diesel (Global B) after HP Tuners ECU Unlock

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I have a 2023 Tahoe Diesel (Global B architecture), and I had the ECU unlocked by HP Tuners. I wasn't aware at the time that after the ECU unlock, I wouldn't be able to add an additional key to the vehicle.

I urgently need to program a new spare key now. Does anyone know a workaround or a way to successfully add a key on this Global B system after an ECU unlock?

Thanks!

look like unlocking breaking ECM security and not allowing another key to be added....probably will need to flash original file where ECM is locked and add key and then re unlock it
