Morning guys.

Is there a problem if I use an old 2015 Yukon Denali red face cluster in a 2018 GMC Sierra? Like an incompatibility issue?

You'll lose the Siri steering wheel voice control but it should work for the most part.  You will need to calibrate it most likely though if the Yukon had different features.

You meant the XML file with the buildrecord? Or something else?

Basically, you have three steps:

- Program VIN and PIN <-- I'd start here

- Perform XML Configuration

- Depending.....  may need calibrations (not the same as XML config)

It should work and the Yukon cluster may already be closely enough configured.  Where you'd see something is like, say the Yukon had adaptive cruise control or TPMS and the Sierra you're installing into doesn't have one of those, you'd start seeing errors.  Those two examples are in the calibrations, not the XML config.

These calibrations, like the the SUV pic, can be edited?

The simple answer, yes, but not always necessarily that easy.  Do you have one ready to go (the cluster)?

Yep, send me a note.  I have the opposite of your setup lol but I wanted the blue.  Just remember, you'll lose the Siri steering wheel control, if you care for that.  I never really cared to gain it but I have it now.
