Using the HMI renew script, unlock went fine. Everything works, and the touch is where is should be if the offset were correct... I did install a 2.0 where the car came with 2.5 (2017 Escalade).

 

Maybe software update with SPS?

I think you may have to install an HMI 2.5.

Just curious. Why did you downgrade from an HMI 2.5 to an HMI 2.0?

Used car dealer took one from an XTS that was going to auction and wanted me to put it in the Escalade. I assumed if they are all interchangeable when upgrading, that the reverse may be possible. I’ll be grabbing another 2.5 from the bone yard tomorrow.

Oh it's possible.... but I wonder why too :).

 

There's actually a spot in there, I think it's System Configuration that there's actually different resolutions.  The HMI 2.0 might be configured for the wrong screen.  The 2.0...  I'd just throw a 2.5 back in, get the proper calibrations and be done.
