From the logs. The XML file you're using for the IPC is incompatible with your IPC.  You need to use the VIN that's stored in the IPC to source the correct XML files for that IPC.

Okay I followed the tutorial "When upgrading the stock low level IPC to a more advanced IPC".

I changed the VIN and PIN on the new IPC to my vehicle.

And now I need the XML from the old VIN that was previously on the new IPC?

Yes, that's correct. If you didn't save the old VIN, you have to use some other VIN to get the XML files for that specific model IPC, otherwise, you may get a security access issue.

It’s the same. The xml file you’re using was not made for that IPC.
when installing a used module, always keep a record of the VIN that’s stored in that used module.

All right, it would be good if you could include this in your tutorial. Then the error would not have happened to me.

If you install a 2017 IPC into a 2012 vehicle, it will not function properly. Likewise, you cannot program IPC calibration files that were coded specifically for a 2017 vehicle into a 2012 vehicle and expect it to work.
Nothing is straightforward when it comes to hacking and manipulating things and some time you have to think and use a bit of common sense.

To solve your issue is simple. Source the correct calibration files for the IPC you have.

Thank you Troy for the support. I realize this is a bit of work. But how do I get the files now if I no longer have the old VIN?

I have some VIN numbers of vehicles with the same IPC.
From year of manufacture 2014 to 2016.

I have downloaded the files with SPS and edited them accordingly. But apparently there is still something different about this IPC.

I suspect a different part number although they are visually the same.

I have now done it and the IPC is working.

Thanks all for the help! 🙂

But now I have another question.

The IPC update to the firmware of 2017. I tried but the Navi 900 (from 2012) does not recognize the files.

The USB stick is recognized but the files are always recognized only as "no audio files".

Is there a solution or is it just not possible with the Navi?
