Extracting calibrations from SPS2?

Featured Replies

Evening, CameraLoops community. I'm just hopping on to the car hacking scene and I'm seeking any knowledge on extracting firmware and .XML files from SPS2. I've looked into the files located in spsDEBUG, and it appears that they are .gzip files with varying contents. I have SPS2 and DPS for future reference. Thanks everyone!

  • Yes for Europe use service box or you can use ACDelco USA via a VPN. When it comes to SPS, ACDelco and service box is the same data base, all European VINS works fine with ACDelco Techline connect.

I’m new to this, but what are some of the methods to get calibration files?

Hi, also very new to the scene, Is it PSA we need to use in the UK to obtain the Opel/Vauxhall calibrations and if so would they get stored in the same sps/cache folder..? I've used ACDelco's SI with my vin for wiring schematics and pinouts etc but get error 6220 with the sps2.

I’m still confused, if I have to pay the $45 for the calibrations from SPS2.  Then why would we need DPS?

DPS is the tool you use to program your modified calibrations back to the module offline..

if you will use techline connect from acdelco then ,yes, you can work with USA VIN's. If you will use European OPEL online system then, NO.
