This service is for vehicles that use the HMI 2.5 module. Other vehicles are not supported.

The file can be used with the GM DPS tool to activate the features below.

 

Purposes for this service

  • Activate North American, European, Asian or Arabic languages on the infotainment and IPC screens. (The language selected in infotainment settings is also set and displayed in the IPC).

  • Activate Video in Motion. (The video keeps playing when the vehicle is moving).

  • Activate reverse camera guidelines.

This tutorial explains how to acquire the module's calibration files.
