I offer remote diagnostic assistance for difficult automotive electrical, network, module, programming, and parasitic draw problems. If you're stuck on a vehicle and need another set of eyes on the case, I can review your symptoms, DTCs, wiring diagrams, scan data, test results, and previous repairs and help build a logical diagnostic direction.

My work excperience is primarily in automotive electrical diagnostics, including CAN/LIN network faults, module communication problems, power and ground issues, parasitic draws, starting/charging systems, immobilizer concerns, module replacement/programming problems, and intermittent electrical faults.

This is intended for technicians, programmers, locksmiths, and experienced DIYers who are able to perform testing on the vehicle. I will generally tell you what I would test next, why I would test it, what results I would expect, and how the results change the diagnostic direction.

My background includes completion of a three-year Electrical Technology program, and I currently serve as the primary diagnostic technician at an automotive electrical repair facility. I handle our most complex electrical and network diagnostic cases, including vehicles referred by dealerships after unsuccessful repair attempts and vehicles facing potential manufacturer buyback due to unresolved electrical faults. I am also currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Helpful information to provide: vehicle year/make/model, VIN, complete DTC scan, symptoms, previous repairs, and any diagnostic steps already taken.

Given the correct VIN and a vehicle sold in the U.S. market, I will generally have access to the relevant OEM service information, including wiring diagrams, descriptions of operation, specifications, and diagnostic procedures. There is usually no need to provide these yourself.
