Activate Video In Motion And Change Languages In The HMI 2.5 And IPC

Video In Motion For All GM Vehicles That Uses The HMI 2.5 Module.

The video still plays when the vehicle is driving in drive mode.

These files can be used with the GM DPS tool to: 

Activate Video in Motion.

Activate Both North American and European languages on the infotainment and IPC screens. (The language selected in infotainment settings is set in the IPC).

Activate reverse camera guide-lines.

Activate the reverse camera always on. (Note, an extra attachment or mod is needed to activate the reverse camera always-on feature).

 

 

I can activate Arabic and Asian languages on all the GM vehicles that use the HMI 2.5 module separately.

    RE: "Activate the reverse camera always on" (Note, an extra attachment or mod is needed to activate the reverse camera always-on feature).

    You can do a simple splice on camera wires, disconnect the Reverse lead and instead splice 12V from camera wires to it and camera will run anytime you ask. It will set a 8 second timer once in motion then disable view, parked the camera will stay on as long as car is in ACC mode
